Cytomel greatly increases your metabolism, that's why it is known as an excellent fat burner. It burns fat even when you're on a high-calorie diet since your metabolism is going haywire. Thyroid produces two main hormones, L-trilodine-thyronine (LT-3) and L-thyroxine (LT-4). Cytomel represents synthetic versions of these hormones. T-3 is 4-5 times stronger and quicker than T-4. Both work by increasing the synthesis of protein, carbohydrates, and fats as well as RNA, thus increasing Basal Metabolic Rate.

The best fat-burning combination known to bodybuilders is Cytomel and Clenbuterol. It also increases the steroids effectiveness due to raised protein synthesis. Most users should be careful and start with a low dosage, about 25 mcg daily and increase by one 25 mcg tab daily every 5-6 days (T-3). It is recommended not to go over 100 mcg per day. When taking muliple tabs daily, they should be divided evenly across the day (for example 100 mcg would be 4 doses of 25 mcg spreaded evenly through the day.)
